This weeks Paloma Blanca Bride had a stunning ski themed wedding filled with all sorts of unique touches. Our bride Elsbeth collected decorative vases for over a year, her husband David sported a creative ski themed boutonniere, and the couple even skied into their reception! Elsbeth found her Paloma Blanca Style 4111 gown at Country Weddings Bridal Boutique in Hingham, Massachusetts, and we caught up with Elsbeth to learn a bit more about her wedding experience.
How did you know your dress was ‘the one’?
Elsbeth: “I left with out [the dress] and could not stop thinking about it!”
How did David propose?
“Dave proposed at my surprise 27th birthday at my favorite restaurant! It was very sweet and thoughtful and all my family and friends were there!”
Tell us about your theme, what inspired it?
“My theme was a fun ski wedding! It was inspired by my love of the state of Maine, skiing, and winter!”
Was there any aspect of your wedding planning experience that took you by surprise?
“How hard it is! It is a full time job!! I think college was easier!”
Best advice for brides-to-be?
“Enjoy the little things! Take a day off to get your marriage license and enjoy your time together before the big day!”
