A rich history weaves the fabric of this world-renowned company, founded in 1937 by Manny Bernstein and then taken over by his youngest brother Harry. Almost 90 years later, Paloma Blanca continues to be family run by Harry’s two Sons, Marty and Sydney Bernstein. Still in its original location in downtown Toronto, Canada, each and every gown is designed, cut, sewn, and beaded with love, in house. Known as Blue Bird Dress in the beginning, the company changed their name to Paloma Blanca and later introduced sister collection and brand, Mikaella. Almost 7000 wedding gown designs later, Paloma Blanca dresses continue to turn heads when brides walk down the aisle.
