Northbrook Farm, Orillia, Ontario, Canada
COUPLE’S WEDDING STORY:
Andre and I were married this past Saturday and what a gorgeous day it was – Mother Nature cooperated beautifully, seeing as everything was outdoors. We were married at the Northbrook Farm which is an old century home situated on 10 acres. It has been in the Orser Family for about 5 generations and they do all of the grounds work themselves. The ceremony took place in front of the home and afterwards guests moved over to the pond where a cocktail hour was set up. The area consisted of a barn board bar, deep purple linens, white hydrangeas, signature drinks, and mac and cheese cupcake hors d’oeuvres amongst other things! After cocktails, guests filed into the large white tent that had been erected in a clearing in the trees. Inside the tent guests sat at long rectangular barn board tables, dined on chicken and ribs and enjoyed a beer canoe! The photobooth was a huge hit as was the bonfire and the McDonald’s cheeseburgers for the late night snack. The DJ had the crowd dancing until the wee hours of the morning. It was a great night had by all!
