We met when we were kids. After about 12 years of knowing each other, we started dating. We knew all there was to know about each other, our families were already familiar with one another, and we’ve witnessed each others past relationships first hand. After 3 years of dating, Michael proposed during a walk in the park with our two dogs one Saturday morning. We were in sweats and everything, but it was perfect.
