COUPLE’S WEDDING STORY:
We met in 2015 at a bar and got engaged in December of 2017. Tom not only pulled off an adorable engagement with our two dogs, but he had it caught on camera too! You can see my jaw literally dropping when I saw the beautiful oval ring.
Tom and I wanted our wedding to be beautiful, classy, and fun. We toured a few venues but instantly fell in love with the Carnegie Music Hall Foyer. The room is truly breathtaking. The ceiling and lighting are beautiful and we were able to do our first dance with our family and friends watching us from the balcony above. It was magical!
The venue is stunning and could merit a black tie wedding, but Tom did not want to wear a tuxedo. He really wanted a custom suit. We worked with Samuel Baron Clothiers and they were able to make Tom a beautiful suit with a one of a kind silk liner with pictures of our dogs and our initials and wedding date embroidered under the collar.
Our favorite moment of the day was the first look. I had been asking Tom for months if he was going to cry, and he insisted there was a 0% chance he would cry. Well, I should have bet on it, because he 100% cried. It was really nice to spend that time together just the two of us because it calmed our nerves before the ceremony.
Dress shopping did not go how I thought it would! I had another dress designer in mind, but ended up not loving any of her dresses on me! I felt like they made me look too young. As soon as I put on dress 4787 I knew it was the one! It was sleek, classy, timeless and mature looking. I ended up adding a sparkle belt to the dress because I wanted a little bit of flair, but I loved wearing the dress and wish I had another excuse to wear it!
