Black Creek Pioneer Village, in Toronto

Michael and I meet over six years ago, and we got engaged in Positano, Italy. When we started the wedding planning, we both knew that we wanted a traditional wedding at a local Church, and also incorporate Polish and Italian traditions. I always envisioned having a small wedding, but our families’ idea of a small wedding turned into over 300 guests. But to our surprise, even though there were so many guests, the feeling of being surrounded by all of our family and friends- it was such an intimate and personal setting. We wish we could do it all over again!

We took our wedding pictures, at Black Creek Pioneer Village, in Toronto, Ontario and then had our reception at Paramount Banquet, where we spent majority of our night dancing and laughing with friends. The beginning stages of finding a dress was challenging. I must have gone to over 12 different stores. I was determined to find a dress that had a different colour tone to it; not just your typical “white” or “off-white” dress. Then that one special day came, where I spotted THE dress from a mile away. The moment I tried it on, I didn’t want to take it off! It was simple, elegant and classy. It was one of the most memorable moments, finding the perfect dress with my mom, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and maid of honour. If only I could wear my wedding dress over and over again!
