Couple’s Wedding Story:
Our back story is this… Billy and I met at work.. Jackson square, I was 22. He was a year older. We were friends, scratch that acquaintances first. I thought he was sweet and cute with his nerdy cheesy jokes. I let it slip that I liked him. He must have like me back because we eventually went out… That was about 9 years ago. So much has happened since then. Have you ever heard that saying: If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it was, and always will be yours. If it never returns, it was never yours to begin with?” Well that was basically Billy and my story. See we loved each other so much, but we just had a lot of growing up to do. He balances me out. My steady prince. My shy guy, with the razor sharp wit. My confidant my soul mate. He who calms me in the midst of my emotional storms. I am so blessed to have this man. We were married on a beach front resort the Riu Montego Bay, Jamaica. My birth country. Our wedding day was perfect! It even rained. Just in the morning and what Jamaicans call a sun shower. I found it beautiful. It was a day of my life, that I knew I was where I belonged and with whom I belonged. I was the absolute most scatterbrained bride ever. We didn’t even have a wedding rehearsal. My wedding party was more than stressed. It worked out. The day was perfect. I felt like a princess in my dress. Paloma Blanca 4256 dress. Something different, like me. It was perfect and with in the price range I wanted. It was about two dress sizes too small but I knew it had to be mine. So I bought it. And tweaked it. I got it altered with a lace up back. I worked out, but still enjoyed food. And fit into my dress. Thanks Paloma Blanca for helping make my special day so wonderful. I felt beautiful. I felt whimsical and despite being a self-proclaimed tomboy I felt so princess-y I never wanted to take it off! I was blessed to be able to afford it. I was blessed to go to Jamaica with my famz. I was blessed to marry my soul-mate.”
