Toronto, Canada – BAYT Synagogue
Couple’s Wedding Story:
Shimmy is the older brother of one of my good friends from high school! Our wedding took place on a June evening, in a synagogue. It was a large event with hundreds of family members and friends. When looking for a dress I wanted something that was classy and formal yet slightly modern and original, as well as modest – not an easy task! However, when I tried on this dress, I loved it immediately. The train was beautiful and added so much elegance. The lace on the bodice had beads and crystals sewn into it, making the traditional lace a bit more current. I especially loved the ruching on the waist, which gave the dress that originality. My veil was also Paloma Blanca; I got it shortened just a bit. The dress was built up to make it modest, and it still looked beautiful. I was so happy with how it all turned out, and felt like a real princess wearing it! It was definitely one of my favorite details of the night – thank you so much!!
