Tyler and I crossed paths at the perfect time. We were neighbors in Greensboro, where neither of us are originally from. He literally lived one floor above me. After dating for a while and then getting engaged at Primland on the coldest night ever, we decided that we would get married at Summerfield Farms, a venue that we had always been in love with. Our dream was to be married outside under the “Little Tree”, which is not little at all! Our vision was to have something clean, elegant, romantic and simple. We were getting married on a farm, but we did not want it to feel rustic, so we chose geometric lanterns, deep green colors, and dusty rose accents for our wedding party.
I knew that I wanted a dress that screamed “romance”, so I was on the lookout for lace. When I arrived at The Magnolia Bride for my appointment, Nicole pulled the Mikaella dress, and I looked at it and said “I have a feeling about that one.” It was the first dress I tried on, and I was instantly in love with it. This dress was exactly what I was looking for. It is classic, romantic, and also sexy.
When our wedding day came, I could not wait to get into my dress and walk down the aisle to my groom. I felt so confident and sexy! I love looking back at my wedding pictures and looking at how beautiful this dress is and remembering how beautiful I felt.
