Our love story: As many of you know, Brian and Colleen grew up in the town of Mount Laurel, New Jersey. A mere 5 minute drive from both their parents houses. They went to the same high school of Lenape, and grew fond of one other at one point in time, but they’re not your typical “high school sweethearts.” It was in the fall of 2013 that Brian had returned home from college as Colleen was finishing up her last semester, that as fate would have it, left them both back in their old stomping grounds. Thanksgiving eve will always be a special night for them, as that is the night that they reconnected. Quickly their fondness for one another grew into the greatest love. They dated from their early 20’s into mid 20’s for 4 years time, enjoying all the perks of being “young and in love”. Brian and Colleen then took some time apart, only to be brought back together and closer than ever. Now they just want to grow old in love! They are so blessed that God had worked out all the details in our lives unbeknownst to them at the time… allowing them to grow individually, so they could grow greater in union. Their love story is what they call… the Greatest Come Black!
Our wedding day: We had the most beautiful summer wedding day at Linwood Country Club in Linwood, NJ filled with sunshine and all the love! They hosted our 150 guest wedding with an outdoor ceremony on the golf green, tasteful-tented cocktail hour, and lovely indoor reception! Brian and I chose to say our personal vows to one another in front of our friends and family, which turned out to be everyone’s favorite part of the wedding.
We are forever grateful for every person & vendor we worked with in order to make this wedding of ours come to life & my bridal fairytale dreams come true – including Mikaella bridal who played a very big part: THE GOWN. It was sooo elegant, classic, comfortable, light & fit like a glove – which made for a very happy bride. Thank you so much!
