Tim and I met the first week of our freshman year of college and when the clock struck midnight on our wedding day it was officially 11 years since we began dating.
Our wedding was the most magical day we could have ever imagined. We got engaged in January 2020 so we joined the ranks of couples trying to plan a wedding around the covid19 pandemic. I had always dreamt of the moment I would go wedding dress shopping with my mom, but with her living across the country we made it work as best we could with FaceTime. After trying on countless dresses, I put on Mikaella 2150 and instantly knew this was the one and cried happy tears over the phone.
On my wedding day, my mom helped me put on my dress and I felt absolutely stunning. My now husband was also brought to tears when he turned around and saw me at our first look. My wedding dress was absolute perfection and I could not have imagined wearing any other dress when we finally got to say “I do” with our beloved dog Sailor by our sides on 9/17/2022.
