Dan and I got engaged in November 2018, and then decided to get married in June 2019. The pressure was on to plan a wedding in seven months! When I went dress shopping in January, I knew I needed to find a dress that day. At my first dress shopping appointment with my mom, two MOHs, and MIL, I asked them each to pick out two dresses that they thought I would like. My mom picked out a dress that I tried on and liked, but the style just wasn’t right. The store attendant working with me said, “If you liked this dress, then I know one you will love!” She brought out the Mikaella dress style #2107, and from the moment I first looked at myself in the mirror I knew it was exactly the dress I had been looking for.
Seven months went by in a flash, and so did our wedding day . It was the most perfect day we could have imagined. We got ready and had our first look at the Hotel Monaco in downtown Baltimore, and had the ceremony and reception at the iconic George Peabody Library. My dress fit like a glove, and I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life!
