Julia and David

I met David on a tinder date, and I knew I’d marry him within 5 minutes of meeting. My hands were shaking so badly that I couldn’t even hold a glass of water. Six months into our relationship we were informed that he would be deployed for almost a full year. He called me every day throughout the deployment, and we talked about the ring styles I liked and what kind of wedding day we wanted. Shortly after he came home, we took a trip to Spain, where he proposed in front of The Crystal Palace at El Retiro Park in Madrid. Less than a year later we had the day that we talked about so often during his deployment. After 3.5 years together we got married in his grandfather’s backyard in Frankfort Michigan and had our reception in an art center. It was the best day of my life.
