Jake and I went to high school together, he was a grade older. We knew of one another but didn’t hangout in the same circle. Fast forward two years out of high school, where we were officially introduced at a college party. From there we made small talk and eventually continued on our own paths. About a year and a half after that, it was finally our time. We began texting one another out of the blue and eventually went on our first date. The rest is history, we’ve been inseparable ever since!
We were just shy 4 years dating, when Jake finally popped the question during a typical fishing outing (which we love to do together in the summer). On October 27th, 2018 we tied the knot at Legacy Hill Farm with all our friends and family present. It was the most special day!
Funny side story, I had actually picked out a completely different Mikaella style and the lady helping me at the bridal shop mistakenly wrote down the wrong style number. It was the best mistake to ever happen to me because I wound up LOVING this long-sleeve beauty much more. I am grateful to be a Mikaella bride, the dresses are timeless and classy.
