The sparks started flying at a party over summer break, listening to Billy Joel around a fire. Jon and I started singing in harmony and had an instant connection. We became best friends first and then fell in love.
He proposed on the cobblestone streets of downtown Portland, Maine and we couldn’t wait to start our new life as a married couple!
I knew I wanted a classic, elegant wedding dress with long sleeves and a high neckline. This was the first dress I tried on at Madeleine’s Daughter and the first to make me feel like an elegant bride! I added a wider beaded belt for more bling and chunky earrings for a dramatic look.
We had the most magical winter wedding and wouldn’t change a thing!
