Finding the perfect wedding dress was a job I took so very seriously. I had been dreaming of my wedding since age 5. But not in the way that most little girls do with a big puffy ball gown and sparkles all over. I dreamt about my big day as the day I would finally get to be the “it girl” or “cool girl”. The girl that the day was all about – the day I got to be in the limelight. So I knew I wanted the dress the make me feel like an elevated version of myself in order to achieve maximum fun and comfortability. It took me 13 different shops and trying 47 different dresses to find the dress that I felt most “me” in. As soon as I put on Style #2354, I felt so comfortable and truly radiant. THAT was the feeling I had been searching for all along.
Having a November wedding in Wisconsin meant a sure chance of chill, which is why I decided to add the custom sleeves with button detail to match the gorgeous button train. I’m so thankful the designer allowed me to order extra fabric and buttons for the custom sleeves so I could finally have my dream dress. My gown was well worth the wait and search!
