I met Tom on an internet dating site in 2016 and messaged him immediately (which he likes to remind me of!). There was no question about seeing him again after our first date and Tom proposed in January 2018, exactly two years to the day when I first messaged him on the dating website which was very romantic. After seeing Brympton House we knew we wanted to get married there and booked our wedding for 20 April 2019. It was the perfect venue with a church onsite and beautiful grounds. It was elegant but relaxed and just a beautiful venue. We were lucky to have an incredibly hot wedding day which allowed us to make the most of the gorgeous outside area for our drinks reception with a 1920s/jazz style band. We had the most wonderful wedding day with all our closest friends and family present to share it with us.
Dress shopping with my Mum and sister who was my Maid of Honour was such a special day. I knew what type of dress I didn’t want but didn’t know what I did want although I had expected to pick a dress with lace! After trying on a couple of dresses, Clifton Brides suggested I try a “wildcard dress” and I am so happy I did as it turned out to be my wedding dress. I loved it from the moment I put in on and felt like a princess on my wedding day and didn’t want to take it off!
