After rescheduling our wedding four times because of covid, we finally had the wedding of our dreams. We got permission from the city to host the wedding outdoors under a bridge in our favorite little city. Before the ceremony, we visited the bar we met at and took photos with Zoe’s preschool students whom she loves dearly. It was the perfect day and so worth the wait.

A rich history weaves the fabric of this world-renowned company founded in 1937 by Manny Bernstein and then taken over by his youngest brother Harry. Almost 90 years later, Paloma Blanca continues to be family run by Harry’s two Sons, Marty and Sydney Bernstein. Still in its original location in downtown Toronto, Canada, each and every gown is designed, cut, sewn, and beaded with love, in house. Known as Blue Bird Dress in the beginning, the company changed their name to Paloma Blanca and later introduced sister collection and brand, Mikaella. Almost 7000 wedding gown designs later, Paloma Blanca dresses continue to turn heads when brides walk down the aisle.
