Chris and I starting dating in January of 2016. Chris was an 8th grade English teacher in Barrington, Rhode Island and I was starting nursing/graduate school. Ten months into our relationship, Chris moved to Colorado Spring, Colorado to work for USA Basketball under Youth Development Division. We continued long distance until Chris decided to return to home as I was finishing up my Doctorate in Nursing at UMass Medical School. We moved into our home in Douglas, Massachusetts. Today, Chris works as an 8th grade Social Studies teacher in Barrington, Rhode Island and Lizz is a Trauma Nurse Practitioner at UMass in Worcester, MA. We were engaged on February 1st, 2020 and married on August 15th, 2021 in Newport, Rhode Island.
