Toby and I met at a small festival in Portsmouth. I’m only 5 foot 2 and was having trouble seeing so my friend tapped him on the shoulder and asked if I could get on his shoulders to see the stage! Afterwards we exchanged numbers and very soon I knew I’d met ‘the one’.
Three years later, we travelled to Australia to visit friends for a month long adventure, and on New Year’s Eve in Sydney Botanical Gardens, Toby asked me to marry him and I couldn’t have been happier. We got to planning our wedding straight away for 2020.
One of the best days in planning a wedding is going dress shopping with your bridal party! After trying on many dresses and feeling a little disheartened that I hadn’t found any I loved, as soon as I put on a Paloma Blanca gown I knew it was my dress. The quality of the satin is just like no other! The unique, simplicity and elegance of my dress was just perfect for me!
Unfortunately our wedding was delayed due to Covid.
One year later on 12th of June 2021 we finally said our ‘I Do’s’. Although we had to scale down our original plan of a big wedding with 120 plus guests to just 30 due to Covid restrictions, I really wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Our wedding was small and intimate which made it feel even more special.
Thank you Paloma Blanca for making my dream dress, I really felt amazing on my wedding day!
