After being together for nearly two years, Gary proposed on holiday in Mykonos, Greece on our hotel room balcony, overlooking the sunset. We instantly knew we wanted to get married abroad as we love to travel. After much research, we decided on Italy and booked Villa Eva on the Amalfi Coast. It was right at the start of the Pandemic so we never saw the venue in person! We’d also never visited that part of Italy before, but knew we couldn’t go wrong with one of the most beloved and romantic destinations in the world.
One year later and I found my beautiful wedding dress. I always knew I wanted an off the shoulder style. When I tried on this Paloma Blanca design, I loved how simple yet romantic the design was. It accentuated my figure in all the right places and had a little drama with the long train. I paired it with a modern pearl veil and matching pearl drop earrings.
Another 8 months passed and it was time to board our flight to Naples! Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more. We had amazing weather, beautiful views and the best local Italian food and wine. All our guests haven’t stopped raving about it! It’s a day we’ll never forget.
