Evergreen Museum & Library/Baltimore, Maryland

Michael and I had been together for 1 1/2 years when he proposed to me, however we were inseparable since our first date and knew from the start we would eventually be husband and wife. We were introduced by mutual friends who we both had gone to high school with in Rockville, Maryland, who were Michael’s groomsmen at our wedding and making it all the more special. We decided to have a spring wedding at Evergreen Museum & Library in Baltimore, Maryland, which was the most beautiful, magical place that truly made our wedding day feel like a fairy tale. The lush, manicured gardens and historic, charming carriage house was exactly the romantic, timeless, and glamorous look I wanted for our wedding.

Finding my wedding gown was almost as effortless as Michael and I falling in love. I went to my first bridal boutique with my mom and grandmother, Love Couture Bridal in Rockville, Maryland. I knew that I wanted either fit and flare, or a mermaid style gown, and that I wanted to feel like a bride in it. I spotted the Paloma Blanca 4550 gown that the stylist had pulled for me along with several other gowns, and knew I had to try it on first. We all instantly knew it was the perfect dress for my wedding day. I love everything about the dress, from the French Alençon lace, to the illusion back, to the gorgeous tiers of tulle and lace hem. I tried on about 6 other dresses afterwards, but none of them came close to the first one. I felt so beautiful and amazing in my Paloma Blanca gown on our wedding day – it was truly the happiest day of my life!
