The company was founded in 1937 by Manny Bernstein under its original name, Blue Bird Dress of Toronto. It was later taken over by his brother, Harry Bernstein, who eventually introduced his two sons, Marty and Shimmy, to the business. Today, Paloma Blanca remains family owned and operated, with the third generation actively involved in the company, including Marty’s children, Mikaella and Brandon.
