January is one of our favourite times in the wedding world – couples are getting engaged, excited brides are shopping for their wedding gown, and it’s when all of the colour and style predictions for the coming year begin to surface.
Pantone, the world-renowned authority on colour, recently announced their choice for colour of the year: Marsala. “Whether in a flat or textured material, or with a matte or gloss finish, this highly varietal shade combines dramatically with neutrals, including warmer taupes and grays. Because of its burnished undertones, sultry Marsala is highly compatible with amber, umber and golden yellows, greens in both turquoise and teal, and blues in the more vibrant range.”
