Abbie and Sean

Back in July 2016 my now husband proposed to me and made me the happiest girl on earth. A little over 2 years later I was walking down the aisle with my grandad doing me the honour of giving me away in my beautiful Paloma Blanca wedding dress. I always thought that I wanted a princess style wedding dress, until one evening Sean and I were walking past the Laura May store and the dress in the window caught my eye.

The following weekend I went in to my appointment with my mum by my side and tried a number of dresses on, the dress I went for was not one I had picked myself. My mum passed the dress through to me in the changing room insisting I try it on. I was nervous that it was slim fitting as I have always been very body conscious but It’s true what they say… mamma knows best. I came out of the changing room beaming from ear to ear, the lady then placed a mid length veil in my hair and my look was complete. The nerves I had about it being slim fitting disappeared, the material was very forgiving.
