Abby and Adam

I was at a fundraiser event and Adam's mom was there selling her jewelry. I walked up to Stacey's table and she said, "You're cute, are you single? I have a son, do you want to date him?" Stacey then pulled up her Facebook page and showed me pictures of her son, Adam. I gave Stacey my phone number and we parted ways. That night, Adam text me and we set up a date to go for a walk the following day. We walked 5 miles out to a little bridge on the Luce Line Trail in Minnesota and spent the whole day talking and getting to know each other. It was on that same walk 3 years later that Adam proposed!

We got engaged at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, so needless to say planning a wedding was a challenge. After many venue changes (across different states!), friends of ours offered their beautiful home to us as a wedding venue.

October in Minnesota can be risky, especially for an outdoor wedding! But we were blessed with a perfect fall day! It was 70 degrees, sunny, and the fall leaves were at their peak! We had food trucks for dinner and dessert, a live band, and a great time dancing the night away!
