Amanda and Anthony

We met on Hinge. While there is absolutely nothing romantic about swiping right on a dating app, we like to think that fate brought us together at the right time. We call it fate, because despite Anthony cancelling on me twice, I still showed up to that first date. To this day, I don’t know why, but I am very glad I did!

My favorite part of the day was Anthony secretly spent the 10 months leading up to the wedding learning to play my favorite song, Mr. Brightside by The Killers, on the piano without any prior musical experience. At the end of the night, he surprised me (and everyone in the room) by playing it on a baby grand in the middle of the dance floor…the band joined in and it was the most memorable Mr. Brightside of my life!
