We met on the very first day of Amanda’s PhD interview at Thomas Jefferson University and fell in love almost instantly. Although our career paths were the first, most obvious thing we had it common, that was only the beginning! From all things science, to hobbies, to sports teams, and drinks we knew this was a match made perfectly for the two of us.

Without hesitation Curtis proposed on the 1 year anniversary of us moving in together. It was the perfect summer night in Olde City, Philadelphia. This area that is always heavily trafficked by tourists and clouded with city noises, never felt so still. We took in every second of that night and immediately knew we wanted a city wedding that showcased where we first met, where we first fell in love and where we created our first home together.

After a year and a half of planning we had the most stunning winter wedding in the most beautiful part of Philadelphia, Olde City. An area full of rich historical architecture and busy city streets painted the most amazing backdrop for the most perfect day!

Although it is hard to pick a favorite thing from our wedding day, I could not have been happier with my wedding dress. I knew from the second I put this dress on it was the timeless elegance I was looking for! The simplicity of the design resonated with our classic winter wedding, and albeit it was the coldest day of the year (5 degrees!) I never felt more beautiful!

In the city of brotherly love I got to marry the love of my life and best friend. I can honestly say it was the best day of my life and one I will never forget!
