We met 19 years ago this July in a local pub, and haven't looked back since. We started a life full of fun and laughter while going through college and him starting his own business, and a house and one furbaby later, here we are today. We took the long way around before he took the plunge to propose, which he did in style, while we were on holidays in Albufeira, Portugal in July 2019 and after all these years, I was still shocked when it happened.

We had the wedding booked for May 2020 in the Aran Islands, Galway when Covid hit and dampened our plans. We changed the date numerous times between May 2020 and finally when restrictions lifted, we went ahead with 50 of our closest family and friends locally in our home town at a near by hotel, 'The Twelve'. It was the perfect day all around from start to finish.

Dress wise, I tried three dress shops in Galway, before I came across the Wedding Boutique in Oranmore. By chance I was by myself the first visit, as I thought I needed my own opinion, as I seem to be following my friends feedback more than my own on previous visits. I tried on two dresses before I found 'The One', Nataliya the owner listened to what I was looking for and knew straight away what to try on me. I knew instantly it was the perfect dress the second I had it on. It's strange when people say 'You will just know' and you will get the feelings, and I certainly did. I was floored by the compliments on got on the dress all day. It was perfect and a simple design, yet very sophisticated and a little sexy at the same time. So lucky to have picked it as looking back on other options, there is no comparison that I chose the correct one.
