Our story is definitely a unique one! We were introduced by his parents after I sat next to them on a plane in 2015. We both admitted that it was kind of weird to go on a blind date arranged by his Mother, but something just clicked that night and we both knew that we had just met "the one".

After 4 years of dating and living together, we got engaged in April of 2019 and planned a destination wedding for September of the following year. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we endured 1 postponement and 4 venue changes across 2 different states (yikes!) but eventually ended up settling on a very intimate, 22-guest wedding at MacArthur Place Hotel & Spa in Sonoma, CA.

I waited nearly 2 years to wear my dress and walk down that aisle but, I have to say, it was 100% worth the wait and everything came together in the end. The venue was absolutely stunning and the ceremony was so intimate and personal that it left all of our guests with tears in their eyes. My favorite part of the day was seeing Derek's reaction when he saw me walk down the aisle for the first time. We did not do a first look so that moment was everything to me. I could not have felt more beautiful in my gown on my wedding day. It was modern, sexy, and super functional for the impromptu after party we threw in our hotel suite. It was definitely the most extraordinary day of our lives!
