Michael and I met after joining the same kickball team that played on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. On the same bench where we first met, Michael proposed 4 years later and we got married in St. Petersburg, Florida near where I grew up. We both love the beach and knew we wanted a venue that was inspired by it, so the iconic pink Don Cesar was the perfect location.
After our indoor ceremony (Florida humidity is no joke!) we ran to the beach to take pictures before sunset. I picked this Paloma Blanca dress because it made me feel beautiful and it also felt timeless, just like where we were getting married. The dress was flowy and allowed me to move around without restrictions, and it had pockets - which is always so fun!
