Carli and Rob

We met as freshmen in high school and have been a part of each other's lives ever since. We started as good friends going to dances together, performing in the school musicals, and sitting next to each other in class. As high school came to a close, our friendship transitioned into something more. From there we jumped to college, to grad school, to Los Angeles, to Illinois, weathered three years of long distance, bought a cat, bought a house, and survived a pandemic that forced us to postpone the wedding day we had been waiting so long for. Those ten years have brought us here: finally married and still best friends. We took our time, and that was intentional. We've grown up together. We've seen the good and the bad and have loved every step of the journey. We were married on June 12th, 2021 on Rob’s family farm joining five generations of Miller’s who have celebrated over a century of special family moments on the same ground. The day exceeded all of our expectations and was certainly worth the wait.
