Christina and Brian

Having lived in DC for 12 years myself and Brian for 5, the city has really become our home away from home. We wanted to invite guests here to share the place we love and really let them experience the local offerings. Our ceremony took place on Capitol Hill -  quintessentially "DC" with all of its charm and beauty. Then we bussed guests out into the countryside of Virginia to a wonderful farm to table restaurant, up on a hill overlooking the Potomac River. Guests indulged in a fully custom menu, curated by the bride and groom, in the quaint greenhouse which was embellished with long tables, bamboo chairs and hanging greenery. After dinner, everyone danced the night away with a 10-piece funk and jazz band also from DC. I loved the modern edge of traditional that my gown had and really used it as a starting point for developing the design of the entire event.
