Christine and Blake

We met in high school in 2010 and after many years of dating bought our first house together and in July of 2023 I got home from work to Blake and flowers waiting for me to ask me if I would marry him - after the initial excitement and calling our parents I asked him '...but why today? Why on a Monday?' and he told me he just couldn't wait one more day. Phase 2 was to start planning! My mom passed away when I was a teen so it was important to me that my dress shopping experience be full of love and support as I knew it would be tough. Myself, my best friend, her mom, my dad's fiancée and my future mother-in-law all got together and we planned a one day 3 shop spree! We found beautiful dresses but not quite the one...a few weeks later I planned one more shop, The Bridal Boutique in Calgary, with just myself and my best friend (who I've known for 28 years!) and we did our best to explain my unclear vision to the stylist who pulled M2485 checking all the boxes! Months later the big day finally arrived and the ladies kicked off the day with a 'ladies reveal' as no one but my best friend had seen the dress, then a reveal with my dad, the 'moms' (my best friends mom, my future mother-in-law and my dad's fiancée) and then off to the church where my husband-to-be would see me! Next thing we knew, 'I do', portraits, reception and dance!
