I went to many, many bridal stores before finding my dress, and it was getting to the point where I was getting frustrated and worn down from trying to find "the" perfect dress. We live in Minneapolis, and are lucky enough to have many amazing bridal shops in our town.... so many that it can be overwhelming because you want to go to them all! I started to follow many shops on Instagram to get inspiration and ideas for my dress, but everything I tried on was missing something. One day, I saw Annika Bridal post on Instagram a picture of my dress with a caption that said "coming soon." I immediately picked up the phone to see when "soon" was because time was running out for me to order a dress! The style, cut, material, and open back was everything I dreamed of. I put it on and just knew it had to be mine. My biggest piece of advice for new brides going dress shopping is to never settle! Don't pick a dress just because you can't find anything else or the one you love isn't within budget. Your dress is in EVERY single picture and you want to make sure you LOVE it! If budget is an issue, start saving money now, ask for a discount if you pay in full, or watch for trunk shows!
