It was love at first sight. He saw me across the room and I saw him. From the moment we first met, we were hooked on each other, and as they say... the rest is history. Six months later we were engaged. And 8 months later we were walking down the aisle! Time flies when you fall in love!

Our relationship was always simple and easy, so I wanted a dress that spoke to comfort and beauty of our relationship. I was always that girl that thought I would never want a white dress, never want a train, a veil, etc. I went to Blush Bridal Lounge and picked out 8 different shapes varying in all silhouettes and colors. When I was walking back to the dressing room to start trying everything on, I saw THE dress. I caught it out of the corner of my eye and grabbed it instantly, bringing it back to the room with me.

I very specifically left it for last because I knew there was something special about it. It did not look like anything I ever knew I wanted but I already somehow was magnetized to it.

The other dresses were lovely and were a hit with my family as they sat there and watched but nothing was just "right". So, the time came to put on this dress and I loved it even as it was going on. All zipped up, I turned around and saw myself in the mirror. I turned into one of those girls who cried when she found the dress!! How could that be? I was so unprepared for the love and the feeling the dress gave me. I did not feel like a princess or even a bride necessarily. I felt like me. I felt beautiful and I felt strong. And it was perfect.
