Dana and David

David proposed to me during the most perfect engagement in the "Lake District" of England. We returned home and began planning our wedding.  We decided on the most gorgeous location in the heart of Victoria the Fairmont Empress. We had a intimate ceremony in the “Library” of the Empress overlooking the  inner harbour surrounded by twenty of our closest family members. We wanted  the people who had the most impact on our relationship in the past three and  a half year to witness and celebrate our love and commitment to one another.
 
When choosing a gown I wanted something that was my style, and timeless. As a  little girl I always dreamed about what wedding dress I would wear. They all  looked beautiful on but it was "the one" that immediately brought  me to tears and had me saying "I feel like a bride"

Being the owner and designer of a Canadian clothing brand I knew it was  important for me to support Canadian handmade. Knowing that Mikaella bridal shares the same beliefs made my dress purchase much more special.
