Dennis proposed to me on a Lake Michigan beach on a beautiful summer day and then surprised me with an engagement party with our closest family and friends overlooking the sunset. We were married by my uncle on July 29th, 2023 at Fifth Reformed Church. Our cocktail hour and reception took place at Venue3Two. Highlights: getting ready in the gorgeous renovated 1920s mansion, sneaking away from the hustle and bustle to eat some cake in the kitchen, changing into matching Air Jordan 11s, running through the sparkler exit, spinning at the DJ booth, and dancing until our feet were sore.
