Elizabeth and Kellan

We met on Bumble in late spring 2020, right in the middle of the whirlwind first few months of the pandemic. We  have both lived all over the world but had to come home to Vancouver to finally meet!

I had been dreaming of being a Mikaella bride since before we even got engaged. I saw photos of Style 2381 and had them saved to my phone. When it came time to go dress shopping, it was important to me to wear a Canadian designer and I looked up where I could find a Mikaella dress close to home. And wouldn't you know it, The White Peony, a beautiful boutique so close to my parents' home carried Mikaella dresses! When we arrived for my appointment, I saw Style 2381 hanging in front of me and made a beeline for it. After trying on just a few other dresses, it was clear this was the one.

I felt like royalty on our wedding day and the whole look came together even more perfectly than I could have dreamed. The dress felt amazing and comfortable all night long, and even had pockets! I am so grateful to both Mikaella Bridal and The White Peony for the dress of my dreams.
