Emmanuelle and Yohan

Yohan and I started dating in 2016, I can truly say he's my best friend as cheesy as it sounds. We went through university, graduation and a ton of other life milestones together. We got engaged in 2018, Yohan is a football player and proposed after a game on the football field! We then waited a few years before planning the wedding, few years during which we got our first puppy, Charlie and bought our first home!
When we started wedding planning, we knew where we would get married: at my parents lake house, which is a place we truly love but also is so special as it is where my parents got married 42 years ago! We knew we wanted a small wedding, we had about 50 guests, and it was beyond perfect! Our day was a perfect summer day, the sun was shinning and we were surrounded by our favorite people.
When I started wedding dress shopping, I did a total of 3 stores. The first one was a fiasco and left me with a bad idea of wedding dress shopping but thankfully the second one was great. It is at that store that I tried two Mikaella gowns and fell absolutely in love with style #2297! I had another appointment scheduled and didn't want to cancel. By chance, the store showed me style #2297 again, honestly it was meant to be. I ordered my dress about 11 months before my wedding and was still so in love with my dress the day of. I really wish we could get married every year so I would get a chance to wear my wonderful gown again!
