Andrew has always said he likes to see me walk toward him, but the truth is, I saw him first when he was walking toward me! He was running late to Bible study and one of the only empty chairs left was next to me. In May 2017, I took a very important walk toward him- down the aisle. We got married in Raleigh, NC in a beautiful chapel built in 1875, with the pastor who ran that first Bible study performing the ceremony.

I have always dreamed about my wedding day, and of course, my wedding dress. I knew I wanted something classic that made me feel like a princess. I wanted a dress that would capture the fairy tale I’m living. I first saw style 4606 on The Collection Bridal’s website, I actually chose to visit The Collection in part because I really loved all the Paloma Blanca dresses they had on their website. When I first tried on 4606, I realized that it was unique in its simplicity and timelessness. After a round of try ons, my stylist asked if there was a dress I would want to try on again- the answer was yes! I couldn’t wait to put 4606 back on. And I knew it was “the dress” when I realized I didn’t want to take it off. I cannot say enough about how much I loved getting to wear this elegant and memorable dress, so I’ll just say this: it has pockets.
