How We Met... We met in October 2001 through a mutual friend and we both were in high school making us high school sweethearts. We were best friends for about a year until he finally asked me out May 1st, 2002. We dated for 14 years until May 1st, 2017 we decided to get married which would be 15 years of being together. Our love stood the test of time for sure. Still till this day I get so incredibly happy and giddy every time I speak of him.

Engagement: He proposed on my 30th birthday In Miami, Florida at an Italian restaurant called Café Avanti. He got down on one knee in front of my Mom, Leticia and Sister, Stephanie. My sister was able to record the proposal through her phone.

Finding the Dress: I went to two different bridal shops the same day with my bridesmaids and mother in law. Then the next day had it narrowed to two both different dresses at two different places. I went with my Mom and Sister and my Mom ended up helping me choose The One. It was the dress I have always imagined elegant and timeless.

Wedding day: We both were incredibly nervous even after so long of being with each other. We chose not to see each other until the time of the ceremony. We both couldn't breathe when saying our vows to one another. We both got chocked up but who doesn't get emotional when proclaiming your love to the person who stands before you. We got married at Chateau de Vie a beautiful French inspired mansion. To carry on the French inspired theme we decided to have Beauty and the Beast inspired guest book and décor. Our colors were blush pink with seafoam green and highlights of gold. Our lines were pink and gold. Krispy Kreme doughnuts were given at the end of the night to guests for an night/morning snack. It was a day we will never forgot and a day that made us stronger as a couple. It was beautiful to share that day with our family and closest friends. Guest count was 67.
