Ines and Nihal

It all started some time in November 2015 when my boyfriend Nihal proposed to me during a trip in India. We both live in Dubai, he was born and raised there, and I am French, based in Dubai since 2012.

I started looking for my dress like all brides-to-be, on Pinterest, and I found a pretty picture of 4458, the one with the model, from a designer I had no idea of. I kept the picture as a benchmark for my search and tried more than 16 dresses during my regular trips back to Paris. But none would make me happy. So one day I looked again at this picture, still without having a clue of who and how to get a dress close to this. And I started looking deeper in the internet, until I managed to find more information on the dress I liked so much. Soon enough, I understood that getting this dress would be difficult as Paloma Blanca is a Canadian based designer: no partners in France, a few unsuccessful phone calls to the few UK stores but by chance I found ONE store in Dubai that brings a few model from the designer (I could not believe it, and I considered a trip to Canada). So I went to the Dubai store but the assistants told me that they don't have this dress and it is a huge risk to buy the dress, bring it from Canada without trying it, without talking about the timing to bring it here.

I left the store, not sure of what to do and trying to convince myself not to do unreasonable choices... but 2 weeks later, I was sure and went back to the store to give a 50% deposit on a dress I never tried, giving a full trust to the quality of the designer and the professionalism of The Wedding Shop, in Dubai.

6 months later, I received the dress... the rest of the story is told by the pictures and I would like to thank you so much for this dress that made me so happy on my wedding day...

The shots were taken in Chateau Barthelemy, an 18th century castle based 40min away from Paris. The dressed travelled a lot.... Canada to Dubai, Dubai to Paris!
