Jacqui and Sean

Sean and Jacqui met at an art battle called "Paint Blank" in the summer of 2013. Sean attended the event because it was the summer he decided that he would try things that were out of his comfort zone. Jacqui attended with her two best friends, and while her friends left to grab a bite to eat, Sean approached Jacqui to make a bet on who would win the art battle. The rest is history.

Sean proposed to Jacqui on January 6, 2018 at Bazan Bay in Sidney, BC, Canada. He got down on one knee on a beach with no one else in view... a nice private moment. Or so we thought! It turns out that a local homeowner who happens to run a bed and breakfast and is also an experienced photographer was watching and managed to capture the proposal using her digital camera with a very large zoom lens. She posted the photos to Facebook as a means of trying to find her "mystery couple", and through the power of social media, she managed to track us down in only 6 hours!

We celebrated our wedding with 80 of our closest family and friends at the Westin Bear Mountain Resort on December 15th, 2018.
