Jen and Joe

Joe and I met about 6 years ago, but only started dating 3 years ago. It wasn't always a perfect fairy tale... we broke up after 7 months of dating and he had a bit of growing up to do. Fast forward 6 months and we got back together and haven't been apart ever since.

Joe proposed to me at a cabin in Gatlinburg. We had 20 of our closest friends celebrating my 35th birthday... little did I know, the celebration was much bigger than expected. He casually got down on one knee when we were out on the deck looking at the view... barefooted and no makeup, we were engaged. And only about 3 people even noticed it happened - he kept it a complete surprise.

We only wanted a 4-6 month engagement so it ended up being 4 on the dot. I shopped for my dress at Glitz Nashville with my mom and 4 of my bridesmaids. We all picked dresses we thought looked like me, and I began trying them on. With my wedding being so quick, I needed one I could walk with... this dress was breathtaking, fit pretty much like a glove, and was so me... and Joe. Couldn't have asked for a more stunning dress.
