Jenna and Yannick

Yannick and I met during our very first week of Senior Year of college back in 2016! We were introduced by our two best friends - Blythe and Collin - who are now married (we know, it sounds like a rom com and we are so lucky lol). Post college graduation and after spending three weeks together traveling Europe, we went back to our home cities (I to NYC and Yannick to Boston) which started the hardest part of our relationship - 3 years of long distance. Planes, trains, buses and cars were a means to see each other, but our love was the lifeline of our relationship and kept us going strong.

In Aug 2020, the time had finally come that we declared Boston as our official home! Over the last 3 years we have built a wonderful life here together in Boston.

On September 2nd, 2022  after 6 years together, Yannick proposed on a sunny gorgeous day in Cape Cod on a beach where no one else was around...except for a surprise from both of our families! Yannick and I got married on October 21, 2023 at The State Room in Boston - which also happens to be the place where Yannick's parents got married 28 years ago.

Our wedding day was beyond anything we could have imagined - filled with SO much love, laughter, happiness, family and friends.

The day I put my Mikaella gown on at VOWS (which was truly the most perfect and most amazing wedding dress shopping experience I could have imagined) I audibly gasped - I  knew it was my dress. I felt so beautiful, it was everything I could have ever dreamed of for my wedding gown. I could go on and on about my wedding gown truly but I have never felt more beautiful or more myself than I did on my wedding day!! xx
