Sean and I met in college – he was going to visit his high school prom date who just so happened to be my roommate. We hit it off right away. Fast forward 7 years, two apartments and one cat later and Sean proposed to me with my grandmother’s engagement ring. If the surprise engagement and family heirloom wasn’t enough, he has a weekend filled with surprises planned including my best friends surprising me at dinner that night and over thirty of our closest family and friends surprising me in Ithaca, New York, the place that we met.

I knew I wanted my dress to be simple and elegant and after one nightmare boutique experience, I was not looking forward to my next attempt. As soon as I walked into Kleinfeld I was instantly eased by the friendly staff and how they were clearly AMAZING at their jobs. My dress was the second one I put on and I knew immediately that it was the dress. They put me in a third and I said, no thank you, I want the other one. It was comfortable, gorgeous and very uniquely me.

Our wedding took place on August 25, 2018 and it was a dream come true. From gorgeous weather to every last detail being picture perfect, we couldn’t have asked for anything else. Sean and I are so thrilled as we move in to this next chapter of life together.
