Katie and Kris

Kris and I grew up in the same town but didn't meet until four years ago when we were set up by my cousin, who happened to live next door to Kris! We got engaged a couple years later, while celebrating my birthday with a night away in Niagara on the Lake. After a day of wine tasting, we took a walk along the water and it was then that Kris got down on one knee.

When I started dress shopping I was completely overwhelmed and couldn't find anything I liked. I planned a trip to Toronto with my future mother-in-law, aunt and mother and we of course went to Kleinfeld. I told the sales associate that our wedding was going to be in a tent, so I was looking for something light and comfortable. She picked out Style 2101 and it was the first dress I tried on. I completely fell in love, and knew it was the one when she asked if my fiancé would like it and I immediately started to cry!

Our wedding day in June was the perfect day, and we danced the night away under the stars. Everything about the day, especially my dress, was everything I could have dreamed of!
