Katrina and Joseph

August 5, 2017

My husband and I had been dating for 5 years when we were engaged in October 2015. After enjoying a few months of being engaged, I purchased my dress in December of 2015. I had been to a handful of bridal salons around the island and had narrowed what I wanted down to an A-line/ballgown style with a “fun bottom”. When I had tried this dress on, we all knew that this was “the dress”. I did change the straps for better support which just enhanced its beauty.

We were originally planning for our wedding on July 30th, 2016 when my then fiance had found out he had health issues we had to address. We made the decision to postpone our wedding until the following summer so we could proceed with finishing his treatments and have the perfect day we always imagined. A year later, we received the amazing news that my husband was in remission and we were excited to begin planning the wedding of our dreams again.

We were married on a beautiful summer day in August surrounded by our closest family and friends. My handsome groom in a navy suit and I finally in my dream dress. Everyone loved it, especially my husband. The organza layers were so lightweight and airy, I was so comfortable dancing the night away with my new husband and never wanted to take it off. I loved it so much, that I even wore it while packing for my honeymoon 3 days later! Thank you Paloma Blanca for designing the most perfect dress I could’ve asked for and completing my dream come true wedding.
