Laura and Richard met in 2009 at a party at Queen’s University in Kingston. Fast forward seven years later (after 3 moves, two degrees and an incredible trip to Madrid) to a warm and sunny morning on September 2nd, 2016 Richard surprised Laura by proposing at Cherry Beach by the water where they often take their puppy for walks.

For Laura, finding the dress was easy- one afternoon on Thanksgiving weekend Laura went with her mom to Kleinfeld (her first ever stop at a bridal salon) and ended up buying the 6th dress she tried on. She knew right away- from the beautiful French Lace bodice, the airy ruffled skirt and the beautiful deep back she knew the ruffled organza gown was the perfect fit!

Laura and Richard got married on the evening of August 19, 2017 at The Adelaide Hotel downtown Toronto. The day was absolutely perfect surrounded by their friends and family.
